Munich Franz Josef Strauss Airport (MUC/EDDM)

Inaugurated in 1993 to replace the ageing Munich-Riem Airport, Munich's Franz Josef Strauss Airport is today considered one of the best airports in Europe, even being rated 5 stars by the Skytrax agency. It has two parallel runways as well as two passenger terminals and a business aviation terminal. It will take you 21 minutes and about 30 kilometers to reach Munich's Allianz Arena.

Oberpfaffenhofen Airport (OBF/EDMO)

Oberpfaffenhofen Airport has a long runway that can handle any type of aircraft, making it an attractive alternative to Munich's Franz Josef Strauss Airport. The airport is best known for hosting a center of the German Center for Aeronautics and Astronautics (DLR). It will take you just under half an hour and 36 km to reach Munich's Allianz Arena.

Although far away, this airport is nevertheless an alternative to Munich's Franz Josef Strauss Airport. It will take you 1 hour and 10 minutes and a little over 120 km to reach Munich's Allianz Arena.
