The Embraer Legacy 500 is a midsize business jet built by Embraer.
Legacy 500 was presented for the first time in May 2014 in Geneva for EBACE. This aircraft received its certification in 2014, issued by the FAA and deliveries began shortly thereafter. It is a larger version of Legacy 450, offering more cabin space and extra length and more range. The Legacy 500 fills the gap between the Phenom series and their larger Legacy aircraft. The Praetor 600 will be an evolution of the Legacy 500 with larger winglets and higher capacity tanks.
The Embraer Legacy 500 is an excellent choice for any medium-haul journey. The Legacy 500 has a range of 5’787 km (up to 5 hours flight) and will comfortably take you from Abu Dhabi to Milan or from Kuala Lumpur to Tokyo, without needing refuel. With excellent coast-to-coast capacity and fly-by-wire technology to reduce pilot workload, this jet optimises your in-flight experience. It is ideal for those travelling long distances, but not needing the extra seats that Legacy 600 and Legacy 650 will provide. The interior, just like the one from the Phenom 100E or 300, is designed by BMW Designworks and offering a bright, spacious and fully stand-up cabin with a flat floor. The Legacy 500 has a heated luggage compartment that will carry up to 14 large suitcases and 4 carry-on bags.
The seating is flexible and can be adapted to seat from 8 to 10 passengers.
